Fall is here and its trout season is starting to get hot. The brown trout fishing is again amazing.

There are so many lakers in the river its disgusting. The steelhead are around, but not in great numbers yet. I suspect these cold nights may get them to start resting longer on our Canadian drifts. The water is very clear, clearest I have seen it in a long time in November. We usually are dealing with wind and rain by now, but have been spared with great weather so far. I am sure we are going to pay for it.
I did two shows with Cyril Chauquet from the Fishing Adventurer on NBC sports...hopefully it will pan out with some good publicity and business. We did a show on Erie for smallmouth. Cyril got a nice 6 1/4lber on film. Lots of action. We also did a show on the lower river. He was quite impressed with your trout fishery. He got his niagara trifecta, steelhead, brown laker, in no time.
I have mixed feelings about the fall. I love the trout fishery that starts, but i really am going to miss swinging on largemouth and smallmouth bass!
